Our Mission:
The Iowa Guardianship and Conservatorship Association (IGCA) works to promote the welfare of vulnerable adults and children in Iowa utilizing court-ordered guardianships and conservatorships and less drastic alternatives to guardianships and conservatorships.
The IGCA advocates for the needed care and protection of adults and minors under guardianships and conservatorships and advocate for the interests of guardians and conservators responsible for their care and protection.
The IGCA promotes the implementation of the recommendations of the Iowa Supreme Court Guardianship and Conservatorship Task Force, and the 2019 new guardianship and conservatorship laws.
The IGCA promotes the implementation of nationally recognized standards of practice for guardians and conservators.
